Participate in Community Survey for REACH (Research & Equity in Academic-Community Partnerships for Health) – Feb 25
Posted by University of Pennsylvania - Injury Science Center on February 8, 2022
Last Spring we received funding for an initiative called REACH (Research & Equity in Academic-Community Partnerships for Health). REACH aims to partner community-based organizations with academics to improve the health in Philadelphia communities by focusing on the issues most important to you.
REACH will do this by:
- Conducting high-Impact, community-engaged research;
- Increasing knowledge and awareness of the benefits of community-based participatory research;
- Connecting community-based organizations to academics and providing tools and training to foster and sustain partnerships;
- Helping community organizations evaluate their work and achieve research goals in order to improve the health of their community.
The REACH team has created a community survey to understand perspectives around community-engaged research and academic-community partnerships. Your response will help us design REACH. This survey should take no longer than 10 minutes of your time to complete.
Click here to access the survey.
Eligibility: This survey is for community organizations and community members in Philadelphia. You do not need experience working with academics in research or practice to participate in this survey. Participation is completely voluntary, responses are anonymous, and no one will see individual responses other than the research team. A summary will be shared at the aggregate level. Please contact Nicole Thomas at nicoleat@pennmedicine.upenn.edu with any questions or concerns.
Please complete this survey by Friday, February 25th.
