Collaboratory Scholars Group – Feb 8

We at Collaboratory invite any graduate or undergraduate students interested in higher education community engagement to join the Collaboratory Scholars. The Scholars is a monthly Zoom meet-up for students across the country who are interested in community engagement and professional development. Collaboratory works with universities nationwide to track community engagement and public service data. In our work we have witnessed the need for a space where students interested in community engagement may convene and explore professional and scholarly opportunities.
This casual Zoom meet-up provides students a network beyond their campus and a space to explore new ways of thinking about higher education community engagement. Together we hope to foster the next generation of community-engaged scholars, professionals, and alumni who have a greater understanding of and appreciation for the public mission of higher education and its role in society. Calls are facilitated by Dr. Kristin Norris, Dr. Lauren Wendling, and Katie Evans.
