Webinar: MLK Day 2022 – Stepping up for the Fierce Urgency of Now – Nov 18
Posted by AmeriCorps on November 16, 2021
The Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is a defining moment each year when Americans across the country step up to make our communities more equitable and take action to build the Beloved Community of Dr. King’s dream. While Dr. King believed The Beloved Community was possible, he acknowledged and fought for systemic change. His example is our call to action.
AmeriCorps will host a webinar to kick-start planning for the 2022 King Day of Service on Thursday, November 18 at 12:30 p.m. ET. During this webinar, we will host guest speakers to talk about meeting urgent community needs, using days of service to advance important organizational initiatives, and addressing systemic issues that create disparity and perpetuate inequality.
Please register by close of business on Wednesday, Nov. 17. If you have questions, please email Engagement@cns.gov.
