The Repurposed Project for Young Adults, Fruits of the Family Table
Posted by Fruits of the Family Table on November 2, 2021
Fruits of the Family Table is a nonprofit organization serving Philadelphia and Delaware Counties in the areas of reintegration, parenting, aging and addressing substance use disorders. We are reaching out to promote an upcoming project for young adults (ages 18 to 24) entitled the Repurposed Project. During this project we will be combining trauma informed therapy with rehabbing (or upcycling) wooden furniture while making new commitments to life, with hopes of refining or defining purpose.
This project is incentivized for each participant and will also include breakfast, lunch, Septa trail passes, case management, skill development, among many other benefits.
Eligibility: Ages 18 to 24, Philadelphia residency with a desire to learn a new skill
Masks are a requirement. A West Philadelphia location.
For more information about the workshop series, contact Sharell Wilson at s.wilsontft@gmail.com or 267-410-6188.
