Hear Me Out Programming Returns this Fall: Food Equity – Oct 6
Posted by Free Library of Philadelphia on October 5, 2021
After a successful year of programming, the Hear Me Out series is returning this fall for its second Hear Me Out season of monthly dialogues across distance and difference! As we collectively address the challenges we share, this program is committed to providing virtual spaces for Pennsylvanians to learn and dialogue with each other on important national and local issues. Created with a group of partner libraries across the state, we’re excited to announce the 2021–22 Hear Me Out monthly dialogue schedule!
Our first dialogue of the season, titled Food Equity, will feature Christa Barfield—also known as FarmerJawn—in conversation with a rural farm worker as our speakers. Join us to learn about food systems across the state and connect with fellow Pennsylvanians on Wednesday, October 6, 5:30-7:30 PM!
