Fall After-School Programs, Phila.
Posted by City of Philadelphia Office of Children and Families on September 14, 2021
Out-of-School Time (OST) is the time that a child or youth spends in after school programming.
Research shows that children in OST programs are more likely to enjoy learning, attend school, and be more active.
This fall, the Office of Children and Families is working with 48 providers to engage more than Philadelphia 6,100 students at 128 OST programs.
OST programs let kids have fun and learn, while keeping them safe until a parent can pick them up. These programs can help students achieve better grades and make friends, all while having fun!
