Volunteer to Help Afghan Evacuees: Interpretation Services Needed
Posted by City of Philadelphia on August 31, 2021
The City of Philadelphia is urgently requesting support with providing interpreters to assist Afghan refugees coming to Philadelphia. Many of the evacuees coming to Philadelphia as part of this operation do not speak English. In particular, we are seeking representatives from institutions with language programs in Dari, Pashto and/or those institutions who may have international students who speak these languages. The City is asking for anyone who can provide interpretation in Dari, Pashto, Urdu, or Farsi to volunteer to help.
