Center in the Park – Interventionist Social Worker/Supervisor
Center in the Park is seeking a full-time Master’s level Supervisor for its Beat the Blues Program.
The Beat the Blues Supervisor will provide staff supervision and maintain a caseload providing clinical intervention to participants in the National Institute of Mental Health funded Beat the Blues research study, designed to decrease depression in older adults. The study is a partnership between Center in the Park and the Jefferson College of Health Professions, Center for Applied Research on Aging and Health.
The Supervisor and Interventionist Social Workers deliver a ten session intervention to Beat the Blues participants including five treatment components (education, case management, stress reduction, behavioral activation).
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Social Work or a related discipline; the ability to follow assessment, intervention, and documentation protocols; and direct experience working with older adults. The position also requires a car and insurance. Licensed Clinical Social Worker is preferred.
