Just Language: How We Talk about People and Issues in Criminal Justice – May 26

Recently some Yes We Must Coalition members met to discuss how we might work together to bring more content about the role of structural racism and classism in the criminal justice system into our Criminal Justice and related programs. Many great ideas about how faculty can collaborate emerged from those conversations, and we want to “kick off” shared work in this area with a critical discussion called “Just Language: How We Talk about People and Issues in Criminal Justice” on Wednesday, May 26, at 12:00 pm ET.
Our discussion will be led by colleagues at member-school College Unbound, whose mission is in part to serve students who face the barriers of current or previous incarceration which gives them particular insight. This conversation is open to all administrators, faculty, and staff at your school or organization who have interest in advancing justice.
