Environmental Justice and Climate Change Conference

Energy Justice Network, Sierra Student Coalition, and the KEY (Keystone Environmental Youth) Coalition will host an environmental justice and climate change conference on October 24 & 25th in State College, Pennsylvania.
The conference, Power Shift Pennsylvania, is open to all Pennsylvania youth.
We invite you to join us in State College, Pennsylvania for a weekend of workshops, trainings, discussions, keynote addresses, and networking. More than 100 Pennsylvania youth have already registered for this event! Through the Power Shift Pennsylvania conference youth will:
* Build a statewide network to empower our young environmental leaders.
* Connect environmental campaigns and raise awareness on campuses and communities across the state.
* Educate and inspire Pennsylvanians of all ages to live sustainably.
* Push for effective policy that will make lasting institutional change
* Transform our economy by investing in the most sustainable energy solutions and green jobs programs
* Separate dirty energy money from political systems and leaders, making elected official responsive to constituents and not polluting energy industries

Food, travel, and housing stipends are available to those with financial need. Also, for those in difficult financial situations, conference hosts will waive registration fees.
