Join the Philadelphia Commission for Women and the Philadelphia Chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW), Wednesday March 24, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. for a conversation about how feminism has been experienced historically.
Panelists include author Michelle Duster, Ida B. Wells great granddaughter; Amber Hikes, ACLU’s Chief of Diversity Equity and Inclusion; and Temple University history professor and author Dr. Bettye Collier-Thomas.
The conversation will be moderated by Gwen McKinney, creator and Executive Producer of Suffrage Race Power: Unerased, the civic engagement digital destination the commission has partnered with since 2019.
