Request for Proposals: QuickBooks Workshop
Empowerment Group (EG) is a nonprofit business development organization. Its overarching aims are to teach entrepreneurs according to their learning styles, inspire them to set goals and to compel them to take action.
EG is now accepting proposals for the development of a four-hour, introductory workshop on QuickBooks.
The workshop should aim to train small business owners on how to use QuickBooks to manage their business finances. Topics covered should include: setting up the program to suit their business, tracking income and expenses, creating invoices, and troubleshooting future problems. The workshop leader is expected to develop a user manual, a slide presentation for use during the workshop, and take-away handouts and course materials for attendees.
Proposals should include:
* Applicant’s most recent CV, including all relevant positions and certifications;
* Outline of proposed workshop content, including:
+ Development timeline;
+ Proposed workshop content;
+ Explanation of how workshop addresses EG’s core competencies;
+ Materials and equipment needed;
* Outlined budget.
Proposals are due by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13. Applicants will be judged on the content and quality of the workshop they propose as well as how well it meets EG’s core competencies. More details can be found here.
Proposals should be sent in PDF or Microsoft Word format to Tiana Pyer-Pereira at tpyer-pereira@empowerment-group.org and carbon copied to Kendra Jennis at kjennis@empowerment-group.org . Please call Tiana Pyer-Pereira at 215-427-9245 x203 if you have any additional questions.
