National Service-Learning Conference Student Showcase – Deadline Extended – Feb 26
Posted by National Youth Leadership Council on February 23, 2021
The National Service-Learning Conference deadline for student Showcase applications has been extended to Friday, Feb. 26th. Please encourage your students to apply!
What’s a Student Showcase?
A Showcase is a student (or group of students) presenting an actual service-learning project they have completed; essentially a “poster session.” In the virtual Conference, this will include: uploading a video up to 3 mins./50 MB, a description of the project, handouts (optional), and participating in asynchronous chat. They also have the option of participating in session during the live Conference (either 2:45 pm CDT on Wed., April 14th or 1:30 pm on Thurs., April 15th). During this time, we will use breakouts for attendees to cycle through the sessions and interact with the presenters live– but this is not necessary if they can’t attend due to their school schedules.
The application is easy to complete, with only a few questions. (Please note that Showcase presenters do need to register for the Conference.)
