Congreso event raises domestic violence awareness
On Wednesday, October 7th, the Congreso Latina Domestic Violence Program will host Open Your Eyes, an event aimed at raising community awareness about the rights and resources available for domestic and dating violence victims and survivors.
LDVP is a counseling and advocacy program for adult and child victims of domestic violence that provides domestic violence prevention education to the community, professional and medical sectors.
The event, which will feature free food and raffles, will be held from 2-6pm at Congreso, 216 W. Somerset Street, Philadelphia.
