Building Collaborative Relationships and Skills for Social Change – Jan 22
Posted by Temple University College of Public Health on January 19, 2021
Funded by a grant from the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), Temple’s School of Social Work and College of Public Health are partnering with the Church of the Advocate to host an event to discuss policy-level interventions that address inequities across several health domains in North Philadelphia.
The event will feature a panel discussion with local, state and federal representatives, Temple faculty and community representatives to articulate the connection between policies and individuals’ lives. Small group discussions and activities will provide opportunities to build and strengthen inter-professional and community relationships as we learn from each other to build the foundational skills and knowledge to advocate for systemic changes. The event will conclude with focused discussions to envision next steps to build on this work throughout 2021.
Please join us to learn how to be an advocate for change!
