New Report: Teachers Institute of Phila. (TIP) 2020 Annual Report
Posted by The Teachers Institute of Philadelphia on December 15, 2020
We at the Teachers Institute of Philadelphia (TIP) have struggled to deal with the problems of COVID-19 and the civil unrest that has swept our nation since the spring. We hope that the new leadership in Washington will bring a more productive approach to solving these problems.
Our teachers have continued to commit themselves to expanding their knowledge base and bringing innovative curricula to the classroom—even as they handled the technical and psychic challenges of online teaching. We have documented the accomplishments of our TIP fellows, and of the program overall, in our 2020 Annual Report.
Since 2006, TIP has been providing in-depth, content-based professional development, through seminars led by top Penn and Temple faculty members, to teachers in the School District of Philadelphia. To learn more about the program and the seminars we will offer in 2021, please visit our website.
