Lesson Plan: Ending AIDS
Posted by Pulitzer Center on December 8, 2020
World AIDS Day, annually celebrated on December 1, is a day to unite in the fight to end the AIDS epidemic, support people living with HIV, and honor those who have lost their lives.
Would you like to support your students in learning about the importance of this day? In this lesson plan, students can:
- Analyze the history of the epidemic through a mix of written and video works.
- Diminish the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS.
- Create a resource addressing an HIV prevention method that could reduce infection in their own communities and around the world.
