Post Election Planning & Training Session – Oct 22
Posted by Students Learn Students Vote Coalition on October 20, 2020
On October 8, over 100 stakeholders in the student voting space came together to ideate around the question “How might we prepare to support campus stakeholders in processing and responding to a tumultuous post-election season?”
You can view the presentation we used here that outlines the 4 insights and opportunities we focused on within this topic. You are welcome to use this presentation with your own community to run a similar ideation session, using either a verbal discussion or Google’s virtual collaborative post it note website, Jamboard. You can also view this Overview Document that summarizes what was covered and what came out of the session.
You can submit any resources that can address the emergent themes in that document through this form.
We will be sharing an in depth and actionable takeaways document and an index of resources Tuesday, October 20.
There will be a training session on these resources with the SLSV Resources and Support Working Group on October 22 from 2-3pm ET: Zoom link.
Please feel free to reach out to Maddie at maddie@slsvcoalition.org with any questions or thoughts about how we can make these resources helpful!
