Updated Survey: COVID-19 Work and Education Survey – Student Viewpoints on Impacts to Completion
Posted by Strada Education Network on October 20, 2020
Currently enrolled college students report the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting their educational experience, including graduation plans, emotional health, and ability to learn.
For six months, Strada Education Network has surveyed the American Public to determine the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on their work, their education plans, and their general well-being. But how is COVID-19 specifically affecting current college students?
To find out, Strada is turning its attention toward college students who are currently enrolled at American bachelor’s degree-granting institutions to gain insight into the impacts of the pandemic to key areas of completion. This week’s insights from the Strada Student Viewpoint survey shows the pandemic is having significant disruption on learners’ graduation plans, educational experience, and well-being. (See our one-page summary).
This nationally representative survey, fielded by College Pulse on behalf of Strada Center for Consumer Insights, collected more than 4,000 responses from undergraduate students at four-year institutions between Sept. 10 and 25. It is being released to accompany Strada’s ongoing Public Viewpoint survey, which so far has collected more than 18,000 responses between March 25 and Oct. 1 to provide insights to the education and training providers, policymakers, employers, and individual Americans who are navigating the COVID-19 crisis.
