Healing for Healers: Grief and Loss for Caregivers – Oct 30
Posted by City of Philadelphia on October 27, 2020
The Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services’ (DBHIDS) Faith and Spiritual Affairs initiative in partnership with Rev. Naomi Washington-Leapheart, the Director for Faith-Based and Interfaith Affairs in the Mayor’s Office invites you to participate in two sessions exploring self-care, grief, and loss for caregivers.
October 30 virtual conversation: Grief and Loss for Caregivers will explore the unique ways that caregivers experience grief and loss as they nurture the health and well-being of others.
Participants will receive tools and resources to support caring for self while caring for others. Each session will include an interactive time for questions and comments and will be recorded so that participants can return again and again to the wisdom shared throughout the conversation.
During this time with Covid-19 we may find it difficult how to grieve. We want to offer support and resources by staying connected.
Date and Time: October 30, 2020, 12:00-1:00 PM
