State and Local Eviction Prevention Strategies in the Wake of COVID-19 – Oct 22

Posted by Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia on October 13, 2020

The pandemic has led to large-scale job losses and concerns about how households will pay rent while they are out of work. When the CDC’s temporary halt on evictions expires on December 31, 2020, many renters will be at risk of housing instability. These evictions would likely increase existing racial, gender, and economic disparities.

Join the Federal Reserve Banks of Philadelphia and Cleveland and housing policy experts from across the country for a special webinar on how states and localities can support renters in the wake of COVID-19 and address the root causes of the looming eviction crisis.
