AmeriCorps in Pennsylvania

This year, PennSERVE is supporting 1,300 individuals in Pennsylvania as they meet community needs through service in AmeriCorps. With funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service that is administered by PennSERVE, AmeriCorps members dedicate themselves to intensive community service. The experience meets critical community needs and provides career training to those who serve.

Across the country, AmeriCorps engages more than 80,000 Americans in intensive service each year at nonprofits, schools, public agencies, and community and faith-based groups. AmeriCorps produces a triple bottom-line: for those who serve, those who are served, and for Pennsylvania’s communities.
