MetroPhilaMapper Offers New Features
Metropolitan Philadelphia Indicators Project is pleased to announce that MetroPhilaMapper, our mapping utility, has undergone several upgrades. Thanks to Avencia Inc., MetroPhilaMapper now offers the following features:
Additional Analysis Tools on the Scatter Plot
* Third Variable – Previously, only two variables could be plotted on the chart at one time, one each for the horizontal axis and vertical axis. Now an additional third variable can be plotted, which is represented by the size of the dot.
* Fit Line – There is now an option to include a fit line to the graph, which shows the general trend of the data on the X and Y axes.
* Translucent Dots – Dots are now semi-transparent, which allows concentrations of dots to be seen more when they begin to cluster.
* Clickable Dots – Place the cursor over top of a dot to identify the geographical area it represents. Click on a dot to display a report including all indicators available for that geographical area.
