The Senator Walter Rand Institute for Public Affairs (WRI) at Rutgers University – Camden is looking to hire a Research Project Coordinator (Data Analyst –focused).
Job Description:
Performs data analysis and coordinates focused studies for the South Jersey Strengthening Families Initiative evaluation. Designs, develops, conducts, and monitors statistical procedures and methodologies to facilitate the accomplishment of research objectives. Research and analysis is conducted using various methods and in accordance with established procedures. Develops appropriate statistical models to analyze research data while managing and maintaining databases. Writes technical reports, journal article submissions and prepares conference presentations. Reports are typewritten and free from grammatical and spelling errors. Coordinates focused studies in a variety of social science areas as part of the evaluation. Provides training and observational opportunities for undergraduate and graduate student evaluation team members. Contributes to grant writing, publishing, and development efforts within the evaluation team. Completes work under direct supervision, with specific instructions on routine or semi-routine work and within established work parameters for the evaluation team. Makes decisions and/or choices following standard practices and procedures for human subjects research. Work is usually reviewed upon completion. Performs professional work requiring general knowledge and the basic application and use of concepts, theories, and terminology in the social and behavioral sciences.
