#RealCollege Student Guide: Beyond the Food Pantry – Emergency Grant Aid Distribution for College Students

Emergency aid is a critical college retention tool for supporting students who face economic shortfalls that might disrupt their college education. In contrast to other efforts to address students’ basic needs, such as meal vouchers and gas cards, the dollars distributed by emergency grant programs can be used flexibly to meet students’ most pressing needs and achieve their goals. This guide and infographic provide key principles for distributing emergency aid to students. Please feel free to disseminate both to your students!
