UPenn’s Civic House & HIAS PA’s Refugee Employment AmeriCorp VISTA
The CCNYPA*VISTA will play a vital role enhancing HIAS PA’s capacity to support newly-arrived refugees and asylees as they prepare for, find, and sustain their very first jobs in America. The CCNYPA*VISTA will expand the current employment support services offered by HIAS PA by creating group workshops and expanding the job mentorship program. The CCNYPA*VISTA will also facilitate educational training and workshop sessions to encourage thoughtful and critical engagement of University of Pennsylvanian students.
