Obama Administration seeks info on successful nonprofits
The Corporation for National and Community Service has posted a fact sheet about the new Social Innovation Fund, which is intended to provide grants to help nonprofit groups expand successful social projects.
The process will seek local intermediary organizations to identify organizations to receive the majority of the government’s social innovation funds, but will also require them to make a 1:1 match for each grant. To download the fact sheet, click here.

Melody Barnes, director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, has also issued an open invitation for people to email the administration with names of organizations that are successfully addressing community challenges. Suggestions can be emailed to communitysolutions@who.eop.gov.
