Survey Results: Direct Impact of COVID-19 on the Nonprofit Sector
Posted by Idealist.org on March 31, 2020
From March 17th – 22nd, Idealist conducted a survey of nonprofit professionals across the United States. The goal of the survey was to learn about the direct impact COVID-19 is having on the nonprofit sector, specifically how nonprofits are taking action to take care of staff, as well as the financial and programmatic impacts organizations are facing.
Thank you to the over 1,000 people who took the survey and provided insight into their organization’s experience to date. Not surprisingly, this crisis has had a dramatic impact on our sector, and we are all struggling to find ways to manage in this time of great uncertainty. Idealist will be using this input to provide to develop resources and support in the coming days and weeks.
