Summer Camp for 9th and 10th Grade Students – Apr 1

Posted by GRASP Lab on March 10, 2020
AI4ALL@GRASP is a high school summer program run in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania, the General Robotics, Automation, Sensing, and Perception laboratory (GRASP lab), and AI4ALL, a non-profit with a mission to increase diversity in artificial intelligence. The organization partners with top universities around North America to run summer camps for underrepresented high school students.

Right now, we are recruiting for the University of Pennsylvania AI4ALL@GRASP 2019 summer camp focused on underrepresented 9th and 10th graders. This 2-week camp will start June 22, 2020, and will provide technical exposure, hands-on experience working on exciting AI and robotics projects, and connections to role models and mentors from the AI and robotics field. We’d love to have some of your students interested in computer science, AI, robotics, and tech for good apply! Students do not need to have any previous computer programming or AI experience to apply.

Applications can be found at https://www.grasp.upenn.edu/programs/AI4ALL-GRASP. The deadline is April 1.

We are committed to creating an inclusive program that is accessible to students from a variety of economic backgrounds. For this reason, our program is tuition-free and we offer a travel stipend for all students.
