The Future of Work – Mar 3

On behalf of the Honors Program and the Office of Career Education at Arcadia University, we are reaching out because we believe you might be interested in our second annual Pioneer Series event taking place on March 3rd at 7PM in the Arcadia University Commons Great Room, on the FUTURE OF WORK! We are fortunate to have Jane Oates, current president of WorkingNation, a nonprofit media organization that strives to raise awareness about the challenges facing the American workforce.  Oates also served as assistant secretary for Employment and Training at the Department of Labor under President Obama and senior advisor to Senator Edward “Ted” Kennedy (Mass.) on higher education, national service, adult literacy, education research. The Pioneer Series is an annual event highlighting successful and unique career journeys that have been driven by a commitment to values. In a conversational format, Oates will share stories of her professional journey, offer insights on how work is changing, and talk about how students and employers can better prepare for future opportunities and needs.
