Volunteers Needed: TechGirlz
Did you know that the Women in Tech Summit (WITS – https://womenintechsummit.net/) is one of the primary fundraisers for TechGirlz? All of the post-expense proceeds from WITS tickets and sponsorships go directly to support TechGirlz programs. YOU can help by volunteering with WITS. We are looking for volunteers to complete research to identify companies, organizations, and universities for attendee and sponsor outreach. TechGirlz is accomplishing its mission through the creation of free, fun, interactive “TechShopz” led by industry professionals, leaders and students. The TechGirlz mission is to inspire middle school girls to explore the possibilities of technology to empower their future careers.
We share our free workshop curriculum with companies, organizations, schools and community groups so they can inspire girls around the world with technology.

Volunteers Needed: Table Staff to help children as they stop by the Expo table. The activity on the table will be to take apart a computer and identify a few parts. A training video will be provided to all volunteers. No hardware experience necessary, training video will explain all.
