K-12 Service-Learning Materials with a Focus on Civic Advocacy

Recent posts to the HE-SL Listserv presented K-12 service-learning materials with a focus on civic advocacy:

Jane Goodall Institute’s Roots and Shoots (https://www.rootsandshoots.org/) program – Each project starts with the equivalent of a community needs assessment and has rich resources and materials.

There is a list of resources on this topic beginning with The Complete Guide to Service Learning — Second Edition by Cathy Kaye that is all about civic action with specific content on 13 targeted areas plus a digital download (https://youth.mpls.k12.mn.us/uploads/complete_guide_to_service_learning_2.pdf) of an additional 250 pages of resources.
