Compact2Learn: Update and Information on Participation

Earlier this fall, Campus Compact shared an opportunity to participate in an early adopter group of institutions using Compact2Learn a digital platform we have created to capture student civic and community participation and learning. This platform is a partnership with the for-profit company Liaison, whom we believe is an excellent partner to advance our mission and support our members in pursuing theirs.

Some of you may have participated in our informational webinar in September and have followed up about ways to get involved with the early adopter group. (If you missed the webinar, you can access it here). We will be confirming our early adopter participants by the end of November, and we encourage you to reach out to enrollment@compact2learn.org if you are interested in participating.

We also wanted to clarify a few things about becoming an early adopter:

• We encourage involvement of small groups, programs or classes on campus. It is not necessary to bring your entire institution on board for the early adopter group.
• There is no obligation to continue beyond the early adopter group, though discounted pricing is available to early adopters who continue for up to two academic years.
• You do not have to be a Campus Compact member to use Compact2Learn or be an early adopter, but discounts are available to members.

We are now learning from the experiences of real users, and we are excited to have others join as we continue to improve a tool that will support higher education institutions, students, and the broader civic engagement field.
