Tracking & Monitoring Community Engagement: How do we do that?

Posted by Indiana Campus Compact on October 22, 2019

You are not alone if you are wondering how to best track and monitor who at your campus, does what (partners in a service-learning course, engages in research with community, conducts outreach to community, hosts students for a day of service or other volunteering experience, etc.) with which community partners, organizations, or members and where or how often those things occur or come to fruition- plus so much more!  It is becoming increasingly clear that part of our role as community engaged professionals (CEPs) is to figure out ways to utilize information technology (IT) to help us understand some of those points above. And yet, hardly any of us are well versed in the platforms that are available, how each of them are very different, and therefore how to choose the one that is the “best fit” for our campus— let alone THEN figuring out how to properly integrate that platform with the IT infrastructure already established at our campus.

Given this situation Indiana Campus Compact is offering the following professional development opportunity (FOR FREE!!), which is lead by our peers from across the country: Communities of Practice (CoP): I.T. and the C.E.P.

FIND OUT MORE HERE.  Space is limited. We are only able to accommodate up to 36 people in our CoP so register soon.
