The American Helicopter Museum & Education Center (AHMEC) located at 1220 American Boulevard, West Chester, PA 19380, conducts several programs for boys and girls in elementary, middle, and high school. Our “signature” program is Girls in Science & Technology, an innovative ten-week, hands-on science program for girls in grades 3 -12. The classes are conducted by female college students majoring in STEM disciplines who are in turn overseen and advised by scientists drawn from academe and the corporate world.
We also conduct workshops in chemistry, astronomy, robotics, and coding for girls and boys ages 7 -12 and are starting Science Saturdays at the Museum.
