Philadelphia Civic Trust Monthly Meeting, June 26

The Philadelphia Civic Trust is a community based opportunity for all citizens to engage in public service by implementing a unique style for solving city issues that’s not typically seen in other grassroots organizations. We use a “No Blame” approach that keeps us from falling into ideological debates with city officials and keeps everyone focused on the solution. The problem solving system developed by our supporting organization, The Citizens Campaign has shown tremendous success and has helped implement over 300 laws in the state of New Jersey.

We are excited to be leading this effort in the city of Philadelphia where some of the most committed and dedicated community leaders are participating in monthly “solutions sessions” and work with their fellow trustees to address issues they prioritize using a 10 Step “No Blame, Problem Solving” process. The Citizens Campaign provides dinner, expert support and a civic trustee community that will learn how to participate in our local government decision making process by exercising their political power in a respectful way, while using a no blame – solution focused approach to advancing solutions that will help make a difference in our communities and city as a whole!

The Philadelphia Civic Trust meets every 4th Wednesday of the month – our next one is scheduled for June 26th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Juvenile Justice Center located at 91 N. 48th Street (community room).
