2019 Civic Learning & Democratic Engagement Meeting – Jun 5-8
Posted by NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education on March 26, 2019
It is as engaged citizens that we can put the values we proclaim on our campuses into action, and support those with less access, privilege, resources, and even basic rights, who are seeking a path to higher education.
The 2019 Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement Meeting (#CLDE19), being held June 5-8, 2019 at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa Fort Lauderdale, FL, offers you an opportunity to participate in discourse around the fundamentals of democracy and gain inspiration from our featured speakers to take back to your campus community.
We urge you to be a part of something bigger than yourself by joining us as a participant for this year’s convening of change. Register by May 1, 2019 to get the best rates.
This year our convening will be accompanied by pre-conference programs on Wednesday, June 5th, dedicated to enhancing civic and democratic engagement on campus. Explore the pre-conferences and add them to your itinerary at registration.
