American Psychological Foundation Seeks Applications for Lizette Peterson-Homer Injury Prevention Award

The American Psychological Foundation is accepting applications for the Lizette Peterson Homer Memorial Injury Research Grant.

The annual program supports research into the psychological and behavioral aspects of the prevention of injuries in children and adolescents as reflected in the activities and interests within pediatric psychology of the late Lizette Peterson-Homer and her commitment to improving the status of children. Specifically, this grant supports research related to the prevention of injuries in children and adolescents as a result of accident, violence, abuse, or attempted suicide.

A single grant of up to $5,000 will be awarded in 2019.

To be eligible, applicants must be a student and/or faculty member at an accredited university and demonstrate research competence and area commitment.
