Internship Mentors, Mastery Charter Schools
Posted by on June 29, 2009
Mastery Charter Schools is seeking mentors to participate in its Internship Program, which challenges
students to connect academic and personal skills to real world experiences. Through these unpaid internships, students learn to meet the demands of the professional world and to demonstrate the skills needed for postsecondary learning and workplace achievement. Students participate in a 12-week training program prior to being place in their Internships.
Participation in the 18-week program is required of the school’s students in order to graduate. Mentorship
provides an opportunity to give back to young leaders and can prove to be a valuable tool for your organization. Internships are Wednesday afternoons from 1:30 – 5 p.m.
5301 Media Street, Philadelphia, 19131
