Examples of Excelencia is the only national effort to identify and promote evidence-based programs that help accelerate Latino student success in higher education. Through a comprehensive year-long process, Excelencia in Education recruits, reviews, and promotes evidence-based practices at the associate, baccalaureate, and graduate categories in institutions of higher education as well as practices at community-based organizations. Since 2005, Excelencia has received over 1,600 nominations from 33 states, Puerto Rico, and Washington, D.C. and recognized over 280 programs.

Through Examples of Excelencia, Excelencia in Education recognizes and brings attention to programs that work for Latino students in higher education. In this webinar hear directly from a program about the ways in which they serve students, and the impact they have been able to make following this national recognition.

Examples of Excelencia is the only national effort to recognize programs that use evidence-based practices to serve Latino students in higher education. This webinar will go over the steps to nominate and submit a profile for Examples of Excelencia and we will share what we look for when reviewing profile submissions. You’ll also have an opportunity to hear from a selection committee member. The webinar will also give you an opportunity to ask questions.
