Call for Proposals: Conference on Community Writing in Philadelphia – Feb 2

This year’s Conference on Community Writing will be in Philadelphia, October 17-19, 2019. The theme is “Doing the Work.”

The co-chairs, Veronica House of University of Colorado Boulder, Rachel Wenrick of Drexel University, and Valerie Ross of University of Pennsylvania, and a whole crew of people in Philly are putting together a fantastic experience with keynote speakers, Carmen Kynard and Paula Mathieu, and DeepThink Tanks, and evening events around the city on topics such as gentrification, Immigration, racial justice, youth activism, and environmental and food justice.
