Sowing Change Community Gardening Conference – Feb 15
Posted by Susquehanna University on January 8, 2019
Sowing Change is a network of community and campus gardens that seeks to share and expand our knowledge of sustainable growing practices and nutritious food, strengthen food security for our region’s residents, and cultivate opportunities to connect people of all backgrounds through the food we eat.
This network represents 21 gardens in 8 counties spread across Pennsylvania. There are gardens in urban centers and rural areas. Here you can find resources on those gardens, or how to start your own community garden.
Sowing Change Committee is comprised of representatives from Susquehanna University, Bucknell University, Community Action Agency, Red Shield Community Garden in Williamsport and the Lewisburg Community Garden, and is sponsored by Campus Compact of New York and Pennsylvania.
Our third annual Sowing Change Conference will take place on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA.
