Increasing workforce opportunities for North Philadelphia Youth!

Temple University’s College of Education has proudly launched the TempleCares: Bridge to Employment program which provides young adults with the education, training, and work experience needed to be successful the healthcare industry!

Program Benefits. Participants will:
 Earn free industry certificate/credentials in Medical Office, Nurse Aide, or Behavioral Health.
 Gain skills needed to pursue a high skill, high wage career in healthcare field.
 Interview for full time position at Temple Health Systems or other healthcare organization after successful completion of program.
 Receive intensive career coaching to support on the job training, interviews, and full time employment, with support through the first 3 months after being hired for their full time position.
 Opportunity to pursue postsecondary education with free tuition at Temple University if hired full time at Temple Health Systems.

Eligibility Requirements:
 Be 17-21 years old.
 High school graduate (or will graduate 2018) and successful completion of a high school CTE program focused on health care studies.
 Receive TANF/SNAP/MA as head of household or as minor.
 Family income does not exceed Federal Poverty Income Guideline.
 Philadelphia Resident.
 Authorized to work in Philadelphia.
 Males 18 or older registered for Selective Service.
 Consent to obtain all Federal and State criminal and child abuse clearances and drug testing,
