Philadelphia Student Union Open House
Posted by Philadelphia Student Union on September 24, 2018
PSU members and staff are excited to be starting a new year of organizing in schools, recruiting new members, participating in arts and cultural programming, and standing side by side with our partners to continue fighting for quality education. On Friday, September 28th, we will be hosting a PSU Open House from 4pm-7pm at the William Way Center LGBTQ Community Center, at 1315 Spruce Street. Please join us if you want to learn more about our programming and campaigns, or if you are a student who is interested in joining PSU. All are welcome.
The Philadelphia Student Union exists to build the power of young people to demand a high quality education in the Philadelphia public school system. We are a youth led organization and we make positive changes in the short term by learning how to organize to build power. We also work toward becoming life-long learners and leaders who can bring diverse groups of people together to address the problems that our communities face.
