Posted by Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia on August 27, 2018
The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia’s Community Development and Regional Outreach Department is now accepting research proposals for its Regional Visiting Scholars Program.
Any faculty member or doctoral student in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware engaged in community and economic development research can submit a proposal for 2019. Selected scholars will have their research published as a Philadelphia Fed discussion paper and will be compensated for their work. Program details can be found here.

No more than 10 double-spaced pages, the proposal should clearly detail the proposed research questions and the data and methods that would be used to answer them. It should also specify the ways in which the proposed research would add to the relevant literature and align with the mission or prior work of the department. Applicants may submit a proposal pertaining to ongoing research, as long as the proposal clearly differentiates the work completed to date from the work that will occur in 2019.
Proposals and a current curriculum vitae for each research team member should be submitted to Keith Wardrip at keith.wardrip@phil.frb.org (215-574-3810) by Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
