Economic Engagement in Higher Education: Foundations for Strategy and Practice addresses three important needs for institutions and the emerging field of university economic engagement: 1) the publication provides a definition for university economic development and engagement; 2) it provides a common set of principles for the practice of economic development and engagement; and 3) it presents a taxonomy of programs to illustrate how discreet programs connect to larger economic development and engagement vision and purposes.
