BioTech Summer Camp Opportunity
Posted by Harrisburg University Philadelphia on July 2, 2018
Every day, biomedical technologies continue to advance healthcare and disease therapies. Rapidly-changing diagnostic tools are available to detect infectious diseases. Novel methods of medical imaging allow for cancer detection in very early stages. Biomedical devices such as blood glucose monitoring systems or insulin patches have helped millions. Prosthetics and other assistive devices are being redefined with mind-boggling functionalities. Life science companies are buzzing with development of new drugs, novel drug packaging, and personalized, targeted drug delivery. Advances in technology and biomedical research are improving lives in ways that were inconceivable just a few years ago.
If you know of high school students who are interested in life sciences, medicine or any healthcare-allied fields, such as biomedical devices or instrumentation, then the summer course offered by Harrisburg University in Philadelphia is something they do not want to miss!
