Summer Debate Academy

ASAP’s Summer Debate Academy is a free, two-week day camp designed for new and novice debaters in middle and high school. From July 23-August 3, participating students will learn the ins and out of Public Forum Debate, research and explore a relevant topic through interactive field trips, and work with their teammates to create pro and con cases. This year’s topic will be, “Resolved: Developed countries have a moral obligation to mitigate the effects of climate change.”
