Facilitator Trainings: Parent Workshop on Early Reading Skills
Posted by Read by 4th on April 16, 2018
Read by 4th has developed a Parent Workshop on Early Reading Skills in order to empower parents to provide reading support for their child. Developed by Drexel University, AIM Academy, and other partners in the Read by 4th campaign, the workshop provides in depth information about phonological awareness, phonics, and fluency. Parents will leave with tangible resources, information, and activities that they will be able to do at home.
We are offering a train the trainer session, so that you can share this great workshop with parents and other supportive adults in your network. Those interested in being trained should see our flier for dates and times and instructions on how to register. Feel free to share this flier across your networks if you know there are literacy coaches, teachers, or other non-profit professionals focused on literacy who would like to be trained.
Wednesday, April 18, 2-4:30 pm, 440 N Broad, Room 1179
