Cobbs Creek Cleanup
United by Blue is joining forces with Philadelphia Water Department and Keep Philadelphia Beautiful to celebrate the 11th annual Philly Spring Cleanup!
SATURDAY, APRIL 7 2018
10:00 AM — 12:00 PM
A tributary of Darby Creek, Cobbs Creek runs for 11.8 miles and creates the boarder of Philadelphia and Montgomery counties. Expanding over 851 acres along the creek, Cobbs Creek Park serves as a recreation haven and wildlife oasis right in the center of an urban setting! Due to the surrounding city landscape, trash and debris often get trapped along the banks of the creek from stormwater run-off and from upstream litter.
Do your part for Philly Spring Cleanup! Join us as we tackle the trash along Cobbs Creek, and help us to restore the beauty of the watershed and park!
United By Blue thanks Zipcar for its transportation support during the 2018 cleanup season.
Learn more about the cleanup calling 215-278-7858 ext. 4 or by emailing cleanup@unitedbyblue.com.
